Role & Responsibilities

  • Design knitwear pieces using specialized software, selecting appropriate machinery for yarn types and knitting techniques such as jacquard and intarsia.
  • Develop programs using Shima Seiki software to create prototype garments in collaboration with the lead knitter.
  • Create size grading programs essential for production phases.
  • Troubleshoot programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki programming software.
  • Excellent understanding of yarns.

Skills
