Role & Responsibilities

Design knitwear pieces using specialized software, selecting appropriate machinery for yarn types and knitting techniques such as jacquard and intarsia.
Develop programs using Shima Seiki software to create prototype garments in collaboration with the lead knitter.
Create size grading programs essential for production phases.
Troubleshoot programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki programming software.
Excellent understanding of yarns.
