Role & Responsibilities
- Design knitwear pieces using specialized software, selecting appropriate machinery for yarn types and knitting techniques such as jacquard and intarsia.
- Develop programs using Shima Seiki software to create prototype garments in collaboration with the lead knitter.
- Create size grading programs essential for production phases.
- Troubleshoot programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki programming software.
- Excellent understanding of yarns.
