Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee repairs, maintenance, and facility operations for stores in the West market.
  • Collaborate with store management, market directors, and various teams to identify and solve facility issues.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance work, including millwork, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
  • Develop sustainable solutions for facility operations and architectural preservation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Store Directors and Operations Managers.
  • Assist in coordinating layout improvements and special project installations.
  • Ensure minimal business interruption by liaising with store teams and vendors.
  • Implement and train teams on the use of Service Channel for maintenance coordination.
  • Review and negotiate cost proposals, maintaining a cost summary of maintenance work.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure store conditions meet Gucci standards.
  • Track and maintain records for floor plans, specifications, and projects.
  • Review installations and verify correct implementation of repairs and improvements.
  • Approve proposals and invoices promptly, addressing urgent issues immediately.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction administration or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a retail facilities role.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Service Channel. Understanding of construction and millwork standards in luxury retail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working cross-functionally with various stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously with initiative. Willingness to travel frequently within the West region.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years in a retail facilities management role is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction administration or related field preferred.
