Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Merchandising Manager and Vice President to drive seasonal business strategies exceeding financial goals within Open to Buy (OTB) parameters.
  • Ensure implementation of key messages and guidelines in the assortment during buying campaigns with guidance from Worldwide merchandising.
  • Develop assortments aligned with brand growth strategies and financial plans.
  • Analyze selling trends and manage reorders and consolidations to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Partner with Inventory Planning for timely allocation of new products, prioritizing key locations and channels for an omnichannel approach.
  • Work with Visual Merchandising to highlight high potential products and styles needing support.
  • Conduct in-season analysis and propose strategies to optimize assortments by store and channel.
  • Manage the merchandising process, providing product guidance and facilitating new orders in collaboration with Worldwide Merchandising and Supply Chain.
  • Coordinate special projects across categories during buying campaigns.
  • Deliver qualitative and quantitative feedback to Worldwide teams.
  • Review competitor activity and monitor pricing to optimize product positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant buying experience in fashion and/or luxury environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Skills

Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, 30-40% of the year. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to change. Organized and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong eye for luxury products and commercial awareness.

Experience

A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant buying experience in the fashion and/or luxury industry is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
