Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine servicing, fault finding, repairs, monitoring, and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment across the distillery and warehouses.
  • Execute small project installations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance and safety to prevent accidents or environmental incidents.
  • Manage contractors, including reviewing risk assessments/method statements and writing permits.
  • Use the computerized asset management system (SAP) to complete scheduled work as per the work schedule.
  • Conduct mandatory compliance checks and maintain records.
  • Participate in meetings with the site team to discuss future works and issues.

Qualifications

  • Multi-skilled technician with an electrical bias.
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work, including risk assessment and isolation.
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work under pressure and adapt on short notice.

Skills

Computer literacy, including Excel and Word. Understanding of PLC systems is advantageous. Possession of a UK driving license. Ability to work proactively and safely on their own. COMPEX training is ideal.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
