Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational aspects of the Distillery Visitor Centre (DVC) to ensure a premium guest experience.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Ardbeg, advocating passionately for the brand.
  • Collaborate with the House team to optimize guest experiences across sites.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the DVC team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure team members understand their roles and operate professionally and efficiently.
  • Work with Brand Communications and Head of Brand Home to develop and implement marketing plans.
  • Manage budgets, providing regular performance reports and addressing budgetary variations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures at the DVC.
  • Act as premises manager, maintaining the operational premises licence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a luxury operational hospitality environment.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with DVC booking and till systems. Strong situational management skills. Attention to detail. Ability to connect with people and work in a rural setting. Calmness under pressure. Good sense of humor reflecting the brand's tone.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a busy luxury operational hospitality environment, demonstrating strong situational management skills and attention to detail.
