Givenchy seeks a Legal Intern in Paris (6-month internship starting July 2026) to support contracts and IP matters in the legal department.

Overview

Givenchy is a French luxury fashion and fragrance Maison renowned for couture, ready-to-wear and accessories. The legal department supports commercial, creative and digital activities across a global luxury business environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide legal research, memoranda and ongoing jurisprudential and regulatory monitoring.
  • Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts in French and English (supplier, distribution, service, digital and collaboration agreements).
  • Support in-house counsel on matters relating to intellectual property, data protection, international e‑commerce, distribution and consumer law.
  • Advise and liaise with internal stakeholders (Design, Communication, Retail, Wholesale, Digital) to translate business needs into legal solutions.
  • Assist with due diligence, contract lifecycle management and drafting of legal documents and internal notes.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in bar school (élève avocat) or pursuing a Master 2 (M2) in IT Law, Business Law, Contract Law, Distribution Law or equivalent.
  • Mandatory French internship agreement (convention de stage).
  • Fluent English; professional-level French (contracts are drafted in French and English).
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to produce clear legal notes.
  • Interest in the fashion and luxury sector and the ability to work with creative and commercial teams.

Experience

Entry-level; current students or recent graduates. Previous internships in law firms or in-house legal departments are a plus but not required.

Enrolment in École des Avocats or Master 2 (M2) in relevant legal discipline (IT law, business/contract law, distribution law) or equivalent.
