Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to support production, including raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with production plans and revenue targets.
- Optimize stock levels and logistics processes through continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean logistics.
- Oversee the management of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety, transportation, and storage regulations.
- Manage import/export customs clearance activities, liaising with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate and manage contractual relationships with carriers, logistics providers, and customs brokers, monitoring related costs.
- Monitor and propose new logistics KPIs, utilizing and enhancing logistics information systems, particularly ERP (AX Dynamics) and WMS.
- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficiency and operational continuity.
- Lead, coordinate, and develop the logistics team and external logistics partners.
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in effective team management and people coordination.
- Strong knowledge of industrial supply chain processes.
- Experience in managing hazardous materials and related regulations.
- Experience in handling customs clearance processes and international trade.
