Cashier (Summer Fixed-Term Contract)

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently, processing cash, card and other payment methods.
• Deliver high-standard, discreet customer service consistent with luxury retail expectations; welcome clients and manage enquiries professionally.
• Maintain the cash drawer, perform regular reconciliations and follow company cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Support visual merchandising and ensure the checkout area and boutique are immaculate and presentation-ready.
• Coordinate with sales advisors and store management to ensure smooth client flow and assist with light stock tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Available for a summer fixed-term contract (CDD) and legally entitled to work in France.
• Basic numeracy and proven attention to detail for accurate transaction handling.
• Polished client-facing manner, discretion and a service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work retail hours including weekends and peak seasonal shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is preferred; candidates with prior boutique or luxury retail exposure will be prioritised but motivated applicants with general POS experience are considered.

Education

Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational retail qualifications are a plus.
