Fred in Monte-Carlo, Monaco is hiring a Sales Assistant (Internship) — 3-month, on-site luxury jewellery retail internship requiring English and client-facing skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve French and international clientele with high standards of luxury hospitality.
  • Support sales activities including beverage service, gift-wrapping and packaging, and invoice follow-up.
  • Execute clienteling actions: post-purchase thank-yous, anniversary communications and personalized follow-up.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and the setup of shop windows and in-boutique displays.
  • Assist with ancillary boutique tasks such as after-sales service coordination and stock management.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for the luxury sector and strong interest in fine jewellery.
  • Impeccable service orientation, polished interpersonal manner and professional presentation.
  • Rigorous respect for jewellery-specific processes, including security and careful handling of pieces.
  • Fluent English; French language skills expected for daily client interactions.
  • Prior retail or sales experience is advantageous but not required.

Experience
