Product Development Project Assistant — Jewellery (Apprenticeship)
Apprenticeship — Product Development Project Assistant at FRED in Paris: support jewellery development, SAP & PLM, Excel; start Sept 2026.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Support Product Development team and report to the Project Manager for Unique Pieces; assist across collections, special orders and industrial optimisation projects.
- Participate in project follow-up: prepare and update briefs, project sheets, review materials and milestone documentation; attend project committees.
- Assist in supplier quote monitoring and participate in their analysis.
- Help pilot project KPIs (costs, lead times, progress) and contribute to project reporting.
- Create and track purchase commitments and follow supplier invoicing.
- Maintain and update project data in internal systems (SAP, PLM) and contribute to data reliability and structuring.
- Participate in cross-functional process optimisation projects and support setup/improvement of tracking and reporting tools.
- Occasional coordination of internal and external shipping flows for prototypes, parts and components.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an engineering school, business school or equivalent university programme (Bachelor or Master level).
- Strong interest in luxury, jewellery or product development.
- Professional-level English required.
- Excellent organisational skills, rigor and analytical mindset.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with PLM Centrix and SAP is a plus.
- Availability to start apprenticeship in September 2026 and ability to provide the apprenticeship schedule.

Experience
Open to beginners and students; suitable for candidates with limited or no prior professional experience as part of an apprenticeship program.
Education
Currently enrolled in an engineering school, business school or equivalent university degree programme (Bachelor or Master level).
