Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting in areas such as color, texture, packaging, and ingredients.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and social listening to identify unmet needs and white-space opportunities.
  • Define product positioning, target audience, key benefits, and unique selling propositions (USPs).
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation and concept validation to launch and post-launch performance review.
  • Provide expert input on shade ranges, formulas, textures, and sensory experience based on category expertise.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely product delivery and align cross-functional go-to-market strategies, messaging, and promotional plans.
  • Manage product development timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost structure without compromising quality or brand standards.
  • Monitor post-launch KPIs and recommend improvements or phase-outs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above

Skills

Minimum 2–5 years of product marketing experience, preferably in makeup or as a heavy makeup user. Keen eye for color, design, and beauty trends. Active user of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills. Fluency in English.

Experience

2–5 years of product marketing experience, particularly in makeup, is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above
