Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deliver and iterate classroom and in‑store training programmes that translate Dries Van Noten product, merchandising and clienteling standards into measurable retail behaviours.
- Coach boutique and department store teams through one‑to‑one coaching, role‑play and live sales observation to raise conversion, average transaction value and client retention.
- Onboard new retail hires and create tailored development plans with store managers to close capability gaps and sustain performance improvements.
- Partner with regional managers, visual merchandising and wholesale teams to align training with collection launches, campaigns and merchandising resets.
- Measure training impact using retail KPIs, provide timely feedback to leadership and propose interventions to address performance trends.
- Travel regularly to assigned stores and markets to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and to cultivate frontline ambassador networks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in training delivery within luxury or premium retail (typically 3–5+ years), ideally across multi‑store operations.
- Demonstrable coaching experience with the ability to translate retail theory into on‑floor behaviour change.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving sales metrics through learning interventions.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable engaging audiences of varied seniority.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours to meet store needs.
- Fluent English; additional European languages a plus (preferred but not required).

Typically 3–5+ years of frontline luxury retail experience with at least 1–2 years in a training, coaching or people development role. Experience running multi‑store rollouts and demonstrating measurable uplift in retail KPIs is expected.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in fashion, business, adult education or a related field.
