Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end editing of filmed content for brand channels, including campaigns, product films, tutorials, interviews and social cutdowns.
  • Translate creative briefs into polished edits that reflect the brands tonal and visual identity; ensure consistency in pacing, rhythm and storytelling across formats.
  • Perform colour grading, audio clean-up and sound design to final delivery standards; manage transcoding and codec specifications for multiple platforms.
  • Create social-first versions (verticals, shorts, loopable formats) from long-form materials and optimise edits for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and web.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, in-house photographers, motion designers and external agencies to align on creative intent and delivery timelines.
  • Manage project files, maintain an organised media archive and ensure safe handover of assets and masters.
  • Implement feedback rapidly and iterate while maintaining high editorial standards under tight deadlines.
  • Occasionally support on-set shoot supervision and media ingest to guarantee proper deliverables and metadata capture.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable showreel or portfolio of commercial beauty, luxury or lifestyle edits.
  • Proven command of editorial craft, timing and narrative structure across short- and long-form content.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and delivering to platform-specific technical specifications.
  • Strong collaborative skills with experience liaising across creative, marketing and production teams.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

Typically 3+ years of professional editing experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle or agency environments, with a track record of producing high-quality branded content for digital platforms.

Education

Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communications or equivalent professional experience.
