Puig is hiring a Finance Controller in Dubai, UAE to manage financial reporting, controls and forecasting for its luxury brand portfolio.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for the UAE entity and ensure accuracy and timeliness of statutory and management reporting.
  • Prepare consolidated management accounts, detailed variance analysis and commentary for regional leadership and brand stakeholders.
  • Own budgeting, rolling forecasts and long‑range planning cycles in collaboration with commercial and brand teams.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies and compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Act as primary finance business partner to local brand managers, providing commercial insight to support pricing, margin and inventory decisions.
  • Coordinate external and internal audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting; liaise with external advisors and regional finance teams.
  • Drive process improvements and ERP/financial systems optimisation to increase automation, control and reporting quality.
  • Supervise or mentor local finance staff and coordinate with regional finance centres to ensure consistency of practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional accounting qualification preferred (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and local UAE statutory accounting and tax requirements.
  • Strong track record in financial controlling, consolidation and management reporting within multinational organisations.
  • Proven ability to implement internal controls and to work effectively with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience partnering with brand, sales or operations teams.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in financial controlling or senior finance roles, preferably within luxury goods, cosmetics, retail or fast-moving consumer goods, with experience in multinational or regional finance operations. Prior exposure to Middle East financial and regulatory environments is advantageous.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field; professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
