Assistant Boutique Director
Delvaux in Costa Mesa seeks an Assistant Boutique Director to support boutique operations, lead sales and enhance client experience in luxury leather goods.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Director in day-to-day management of the boutique, ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards.
- Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs through coaching, clienteling and active selling.
- Lead and develop the sales team through training, performance feedback and shift supervision.
- Curate and maintain visual merchandising to reflect seasonal directives and sustain the brand’s aesthetic.
- Oversee inventory management, stock integrity and loss-prevention procedures, including receiving and stock reconciliation.
- Manage administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, till reconciliation, daily reporting and basic payroll inputs.
- Coordinate VIP appointments, private client events and in-store activations to deepen client relationships.
- Produce timely sales and operational reports and liaise with regional management to implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail with supervisory or assistant management responsibility.
- Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed sales targets and operational KPIs.
- Excellent clienteling skills with a service-first mindset and the ability to cultivate high-value relationships.
- Strong leadership and people-development capabilities; experience coaching frontline teams.
- Sound numeracy and administrative competence, including cash handling and basic retail reporting.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury retail with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial capacity; experience in leather goods, accessories or fashion retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
