Role & Responsibilities

  • Own North America allocation for Collection handbags, managing inventory splits between stores and e-commerce and balancing allocations across multiple distribution centers.
  • Analyze and manage inventory levels at both distribution and store levels across 400+ seasonal SKUs to support sales and inventory plans.
  • Develop and execute allocation strategies and back‑in‑stock programs for high‑profile styles to maximize sell‑through and margin.
  • Partner closely with Buying partners, the Center of Excellence, DC operations and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and product flow.
  • Generate forward‑looking ideas and implement initiatives to improve allocation accuracy and inventory productivity.
  • Produce and maintain accurate reporting; share best practices and maximize systems knowledge within the Allocation team.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, resolving allocation exceptions through structured problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Communicate allocation rationale and results effectively to stakeholders across merchandising, operations and the field.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of allocation or merchandising allocation experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into commercial allocation decisions.
  • Strong strategic thinking with outstanding quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; able to influence cross‑functional partners at all levels.
  • Highly organized with strong time management; able to multi‑task and perform in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Experience

At least 2 years of direct allocation experience or equivalent merchandising/inventory experience; demonstrated history using allocation and reporting systems and advanced Excel to manage multi‑channel inventory.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Fashion Merchandising or a related field preferred — or equivalent professional experience.
