Christian Dior Couture is hiring a Studio Assistant — RTW Leather & Fur (Internship) in Paris to support leather/fur RTW design, sourcing, Adobe work and show prep.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and design of ready-to-wear leather and fur garments throughout the creative process.
  • Contribute to research and sourcing of leathers and furs aligned with the collection's creative direction.
  • Assist with sketching, rendering and technical drawings; produce visual materials using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
  • Participate in 3D mock-ups and draping development to refine silhouettes and fittings.
  • Monitor fashion trends and materials developments to inform design decisions and mood research.
  • Help organise and maintain the studio to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the studio team and participate in show preparation during Fashion Week.
  • Adapt responsibilities according to team needs, ongoing projects and individual initiative.

Qualifications

  • BA or MA in Fashion Design (valid internship agreement from current institution is mandatory).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating design work in garments and materials — portfolio submission required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Genuine passion for luxury ready-to-wear and sensitivity to materials, particularly leather and fur.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong creative-research mindset and effective teamwork and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; French and/or Italian are a plus.

Experience

Entry-level: previous internships or any experience within luxury fashion or a design studio are advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

BA or MA in Fashion Design. A valid internship agreement from the candidate's current school is required.
