Role & Responsibilities
- Greet, advise and serve customers, consistently delivering the highest standard of client service.
- Develop deep client relationships using a 1‑to‑1 personal‑shopper approach to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across ready‑to‑wear categories and remain informed about campaigns, launches and promotions.
- Recommend add‑on sales and upsell to maximise individual and departmental sales performance.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally, escalating to management when required.
- Monitor and achieve daily and weekly sales targets and department KPIs.
- Follow stock management procedures, including receipting, replenishment and inventory control.
- Maintain exemplary housekeeping and visual presentation standards across the department.
- Operate selling systems and perform cash, credit and exchange transactions accurately.
- Take proactive measures to protect merchandise and minimise loss through adherence to security procedures.
- Comply with company administration systems and departmental processes to control shrinkage and operational risk.
- Participate constructively in team meetings and undertake additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK required.
- Availability to work full‑time (40 hours/week) across a five‑day shift rota, including Monday–Sunday flexibility and Harrods opening/closing hours.
- Minimum three years’ experience in luxury retail or premium fashion service.
- Demonstrable ability to build and maintain high‑value client relationships and provide a personalised selling experience.
- Persistent drive to achieve personal and team targets while maintaining exacting presentation standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Fluency in an additional language is preferred.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years’ proven experience in luxury retail, preferably within ready‑to‑wear or couture at a premium fashion house.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification or degree in fashion, retail, merchandising or business is advantageous.
