Senior Retail Merchandiser
Christian Dior Couture seeks a Senior Retail Merchandiser in Paris to drive category performance and assortment across Europe.

As part of the LVMH group, the brand combines creative leadership with rigorous commercial standards and international operations across wholesale and directly operated stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimise category performance across Europe through weekly and monthly analysis of sales, sell‑through and stock KPIs, delivering accurate reporting and actionable insights.
- Lead the European showroom buying process four times per year: consolidate market feedback, define zone buying strategies, place orders in the system and monitor showroom KPIs.
- Design and manage the permanent seasonal assortment by cluster, propose SKU additions or phase‑outs, and coordinate permanent product forecasts with Europe Planning.
- Define allocation strategies for stores in coordination with Supply Chain to align distribution with cluster objectives and market needs.
- Act as the primary interface between the Business Unit, Europe Head Office functions and local retail merchandisers, ensuring smooth information flow and delivery of product‑related support.
- Provide product expertise and competitive intelligence: track trends, pricing, materials and best‑sellers by market and translate qualitative insights into commercial recommendations.
- Prepare and present business reviews and analytical tools to support decision‑making across merchandising, buying and retail teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail merchandising, ideally within a luxury Maison with exposure to European markets.
- Proven product sensitivity and demonstrable interest in leather goods and accessories.
- Fluent English required; ability to operate in an international, cross‑cultural environment.
- Strong commercial orientation, attention to detail and a results‑driven mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and demonstrated capability to prepare analytical presentations for management and showroom sessions.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in retail merchandising, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within luxury fashion and have European market exposure.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Economics or a related field; advanced degree or specialised training in luxury retail/merchandising is a plus.
