Christian Dior Couture seeks a Senior Merchandising Manager, Women's Ready-to-Wear & Maison in Singapore to lead merchandising and sell-through across South Asia.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define seasonal buy plans: conduct sales analysis, identify product opportunities and shape product strategy in collaboration with the Merchandising Manager.
  • Drive Open-to-Buy (OTB) decisions and budget allocation in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to align with regional strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Design balanced product assortments and initial allocation strategies for seasonal and permanent ranges to optimize sales and sell-through.
  • Manage in‑season performance: monitor sell-through, propose corrective actions, and adjust allocations to maximize commercial outcomes.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain to ensure optimal stock flow and inventory availability across channels.
  • Partner with Retail and E‑Commerce teams to translate product strategy into channel-specific merchandising and promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on product launches, new store openings and events to ensure cohesive presentation and commercial impact.
  • Work with Training to produce product training materials and enable frontline teams on assortment story and selling points.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly sales and assortment reports, consolidating feedback to inform product and collection improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in merchandising, buying or assortment planning, preferably within luxury retail or a fashion house.
  • Proven experience managing regional assortments and contributing to OTB and allocation decisions across multiple channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record of achieving sell-through and sales targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence preparing board-level reports and presentations.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant merchandising or buying experience, ideally within luxury fashion or a high-end retail environment, with regional responsibility (South Asia / Asia Pacific) and a proven record of driving sell-through and allocation strategies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Retail Management or a related discipline preferred.
