Christian Dior Couture seeks a Public Relations Intern in Sydney (unpaid, part-time) to support Communications across sample inventory, press and social media.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support sample inventory operations, including preparation of product movement documentation, showroom presentation and sample stocktakes.
  • Assist with maintenance of sample condition (steaming, minor repairs, dry cleaning coordination).
  • Consolidate press coverage for reporting, extract data for crediting requests and assist with filing print magazines and clippings.
  • Support social media and talent market tasks, including analysis of the Australian talent market and preparation of dressing request forms.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for PR initiatives, liaising with retail, logistics and merchandising teams.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc communications projects and gain exposure to day-to-day functions of the local Communications team.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing and Communications or a related field at an Australian or New Zealand university/college.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in luxury brand communications.
  • Basic understanding of public relations principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional work ethic, reliability and eagerness to learn.

Experience
