Christian Dior Couture — Production Sewing Internship (RTW) in Florence; four‑week training in Tuscany to develop haute couture production sewing skills.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Attend a four‑week intensive training programme (1 week theoretical/technical + 3 weeks practical) at the Polo d’Eccellenza SANSER (San Miniato, Pisa) to acquire production sewing competencies for RTW garments.
  • Learn and practise precise assembly and finishing techniques for high‑quality, lightweight fabrics, following technical sheets and Maison standards.
  • Operate and maintain industrial sewing equipment and perform fine hand‑sewing where required to achieve couture levels of finish.
  • Execute garment assembly tasks within a production line, meeting quality, timing and productivity targets.
  • Collaborate with trainers, peers and production teams to integrate into standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable passion for clothing and fashion products.
  • Manual dexterity, fine motor sensitivity and a strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude to teamwork and capacity to follow technical instructions.
  • Good command of Italian (spoken and written).

Experience

Entry level (Prima esperienza). Prior hands‑on experience or training in sewing/tailoring is advantageous but not mandatory; the programme is designed to accept candidates seeking initial employment in production sewing.

Education

No formal degree required; vocational training or secondary education in garment technology, tailoring or a related discipline is a plus.
