Procurement Specialist
Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Procurement Specialist in Orléans, France — full-time CDI role in Supply Chain managing supplier portfolios and procurement strategy.
Overview
Parfums Christian Dior is the fragrance and cosmetics division of the Dior Maison, operating within the LVMH Group. The Maison combines haute parfumerie and luxury cosmetics craftsmanship with global distribution, sustained creativity and a rigorous focus on quality and brand heritage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of suppliers to ensure product availability, cost optimisation and maximum commercial value.
- Define and deploy short-, medium- and long-term procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
- Establish and manage logistics and procurement contracts (lead times, delivery frequency, MOQs) and oversee contract compliance.
- Drive supplier performance through regular reviews, capacity/load assessments and corrective action plans.
- Optimise inventory policies and stock levels to balance service, cost and operational efficiency.
- Develop close supplier partnerships, conduct regular site visits and initiate joint improvement projects.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in procurement, supply planning or supplier management.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Excel (advanced functions and modelling).
- Strong knowledge of procurement techniques, inventory management and supplier performance metrics.
- Fluent English (professional working proficiency).
- Proven negotiation, stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement capability.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years in a procurement or supply‑chain role with responsibility for supplier portfolios and contract management; experience in cosmetics, luxury goods or FMCG is an advantage.
Education
Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
