Christian Dior Couture — Paris seeks a Procurement Project Manager (Architecture) to manage supplier sourcing and purchasing for boutique openings and renovations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define purchasing strategy for new developments in collaboration with the R&D/Architecture team and the Head of Procurement.
  • Translate design briefs into technical specifications, prepare detailed statements of work and decompose costs for supplier tendering.
  • Source, evaluate and select suppliers for store renovations and new openings; lead commercial negotiations on price, lead times and quality.
  • Support R&D through project key stages to ensure procurement deliverables align with architecture concepts and project timelines.
  • Prepare forecasts, objectives and management presentations; collect, analyse and synthesise data to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Manage supplier onboarding and referencing: coordinate signature of Dior-specific documents (NDAs, code of conduct, compliance forms) and perform due diligence checks.
  • Plan and oversee audits (environmental, ethical) when required; track corrective actions and supplier improvement plans.
  • Coordinate and manage tender processes for fitted furniture and decorative suppliers, run comparative price studies and update supplier databases.
  • Maintain commercial relationships, handle dispute resolution, collect order reports and monitor supplier performance and turnover.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Grande École or equivalent) with specialisation in Purchasing, Project Management or Data Analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Purchasing/Procurement function; experience in construction, architecture or retail fit‑outs highly desirable.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships and tender processes.
  • Strong project management capability, autonomy, analytical rigor and a solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with supplier due diligence, compliance checks and coordinating third‑party audits.

Experience

At least 3 years of procurement experience within a Purchasing department, with preference for candidates who have worked on construction, architecture or retail fit‑out projects.

Education

Master's degree (Grande École or equivalent) in Purchasing, Project Management, Data Analysis or related discipline.
