Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process all shipping and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently, including inbound freight, returns-to-vendor (RTV), transfers, chargebacks and damages.
  • Maintain an orderly, secure and brand-compliant stockroom and receiving area; ensure merchandise is ticketed, sensored and stored to company standards.
  • Participate in inventory controls and cycle counts to minimize shrink and reconcile stock records.
  • Coordinate with central distribution and corporate inventory control to resolve discrepancies and support replenishment.
  • Support merchandising tasks such as floor moves, display maintenance, price changes and housekeeping to ensure boutique presentation.
  • Safeguard company assets by following security, record-keeping and cash/procedure protocols.
  • Assist with packing/wrapping customer purchases and other client-facing tasks when required.
  • Operate required equipment and systems for daily receiving and inventory operations.
  • Attend store meetings and mandatory training; perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in retail stock, shipping/receiving or inventory control.
  • Proven ability to handle receiving operations and physical merchandise handling, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with disciplined follow-through.
  • Demonstrable numeracy and literacy to complete documentation and reconcile shipments.
  • Comfortable working varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as business requires.
  • Familiarity with store security and loss-prevention best practices.

Experience

Minimum three years of practical experience in retail stock, receiving/shipping or inventory-control roles, preferably within luxury retail or branded boutique environments.
