Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Men's RTW Tailoring Studio Assistant (Internship) to support menswear design, sketching and fittings.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Men's RTW tailoring team through the full creative cycle, from research and concepting to prototype follow-up.
  • Produce sketches, renderings and technical drawings using Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Support 3D mockup review and iteration, liaising with technical and prototyping teams to monitor samples.
  • Prepare materials for design fittings: create boards, set up mock-ups and receive prototypes.
  • Assist in collection preparation for Fashion Week and other key presentations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments (atelier, patternmaking, production) to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Organise team meetings and prepare visual presentations.
  • Perform day-to-day studio tasks to maintain studio efficiency and document design decisions.

Qualifications

  • BA or MA in Fashion Design; a valid internship agreement from the candidate's educational institution is mandatory.
  • Completed at least one graduation collection or equivalent studio experience.
  • Hands-on experience in sewing and garment construction.
  • Very strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
  • Portfolio submission is required; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Experience

Entry-level internship: candidates should be early-career (Débutant) but must have completed at least one graduation collection or possess prior experience in a design studio; practical sewing and sample-handling experience is expected.

BA or MA in Fashion Design (valid internship agreement from current school required).
