Christian Dior Couture seeks a Maintenance Technician in Limoges, France to manage preventive and corrective maintenance of workshop facilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance of building, production equipment and utilities within the Limoges workshop.
  • Ensure site compliance with hygiene, safety and regulatory requirements; prepare technical procedures and maintenance prescriptions.
  • Define, implement and optimise maintenance plans and schedules in alignment with production constraints.
  • Manage and supervise external contractors and internal maintenance work to guarantee conformity and quality of interventions.
  • Monitor and maintain building systems: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire safety and surveillance systems; coordinate related installations and upgrades.
  • Program and supervise safety operations (evacuation drills, fire alarm tests, safety trainings) and control staff access rights and certifications.
  • Prepare and equip workspaces for new employees (badges, PPE) and organise office relocations, space reconfigurations and on‑site events.
  • Establish alerts and diagnostics to detect malfunctions and limit production impact; troubleshoot major breakdowns affecting production.
  • Draft specifications and technical purchase requirements for tools, spare parts and external services.
  • Provide first‑level technical training and user guidance to site teams to ensure correct operation and basic maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Multidisciplinary technical competence in mechanics and electrical systems.
  • Solid knowledge of industrial production technologies and machine technical documentation.
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (health, safety, environmental) and applicable national / European standards.
  • Ability to create and manage maintenance schedules that respect production constraints.
  • Technical English (reading and comprehension) for manuals and datasheets.
  • Proficiency with office IT tools for reporting and planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, organisation, adaptability and a pragmatic, methodical approach.
  • Pedagogical aptitude to train users and a service‑oriented mindset.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in industrial or workshop maintenance, with autonomous responsibility for building and production equipment.

Education

Technical diploma in electromechanics, industrial maintenance or equivalent (BEP/CAP, Bac Pro, BTS or similar).
