Role & Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on handbags and small leather goods, adhering to the brand's quality standards and expected timelines.
- Analyze repair instructions provided on the job tracking sheet.
- Seek the optimal balance between quality and time efficiency.
- Manufacture leather spare parts when necessary.
- Document completed work on the intervention sheet.
- Master leather repair and maintenance techniques, including hand cutting, skiving, table work (gluing, edge folding), hand stitching, and machine sewing using cylinder arm and post-bed sewing machines.
- Apply edge dyeing and recoloring techniques.
Qualifications
- CAP, BEP, Bac Pro, or BTS in Leather Goods specialization.
Skills
Experience
Experience in stitching is highly desired, particularly in the repair, fabrication, or modeling of leather goods.
Education
CAP, BEP, Bac Pro, or BTS in Leather Goods specialization.
