Inventory Controller
Christian Dior Couture in Cannes seeks an Inventory Controller (CDD, full-time) to manage boutique stock, cycle counts and jewellery/watch ledger compliance.

Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the boutique’s stock reference for all inventory operations: goods receipt, internal transfers, destocking and end-of-life management, loans, set‑asides and preparation for sales periods.
- Perform and reconcile cycle counts according to the predefined calendar; investigate and resolve negative stock situations.
- Ensure consistent implementation of internal control processes across the retail team and escalate compliance issues.
- Support the retail team with operational needs: optimise stock layout, manage packaging and supplies orders, and coordinate equipment requests.
- Manage labelling and re‑labelling of merchandise during price changes and seasonal transitions.
- Supervise after‑sales service (SAV) follow‑up and liaise with relevant departments to resolve customer cases.
- Maintain and apply the regulatory rules of the police ledger for jewellery and watch categories and advise sales teams on related procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience in retail inventory, stock control or logistics — experience in luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Proven mastery of inventory management processes and stock management software.
- Excellent presentation and strong affinity for the luxury fashion universe.
- Highly organised, rigorous and responsive with strong initiative and autonomy.
- Ability to apply regulatory procedures for high‑value jewellery and watch inventory.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in stock control or inventory management within a retail environment; prior experience in luxury goods, jewellery or watch retail is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; vocational qualification in logistics, retail management or a related field preferred.
