Christian Dior Couture in Pforzheim seeks an Industrialization, Costing & Pricing Specialist (fixed-term) to industrialize jewelry and manage SKU costing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead industrialization of jewelry assortments (earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces) across four collections per year, ensuring readiness for production start‑up.
  • Define, document and monitor each process step through to production release, including capacity planning and schedule adherence.
  • Perform industrial cost calculations for approximately 400 SKUs per collection and maintain margin targets through cost optimization initiatives.
  • Coordinate SAP master data updates, reviews, analyses and validations related to product industrialization and costing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams — production, development, methods, quality, purchasing and planning — and participate in product launch meetings with Design Studio and Marketing.
  • Support supplier/subcontractor selection based on technical capability and cost/quality criteria.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by leading Lean projects, developing new processes and implementing technological improvements.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in a commercial field or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management, Product Development, Product Design, Planning or a comparable discipline.
  • Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in the jewelry sector.
  • Proven experience with industrial costings and product industrialization for luxury jewelry.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP for master data and production planning processes.
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken); additional languages advantageous.
  • Structured, autonomous and accountable working style with strong cross‑functional communication skills.

Experience

At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in jewelry industrialization, costing or a closely related function within the luxury or fine jewelry industry.
