Head of Private Client
Christian Dior Couture (Paris) seeks a Head of Private Client (Temporary) to lead global top-client strategy and VIP engagement.
Overview
Maison Christian Dior Couture is the couture and ready-to-wear division of the Dior fashion house, operating within the LVMH luxury group. The House is recognised for its heritage of craftsmanship, creativity and global retail excellence, sustaining an international community of creative and commercial professionals across product, client experience and fashion operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the global Top Client strategy in alignment with the House’s positioning and regional priorities.
- Plan and coordinate strategic client engagement for international flagship events (Fashion Weeks, Haute Couture shows, exclusive launches), including seat allocations, target lists, invitations and KPI definition.
- Monitor and report worldwide performance during events (attendance, conversion, AOV, turnover) and design post-event, bespoke engagement protocols for high-value clients.
- Design and operate the Grands Vendeurs programme: set KPIs, commission schemes, recognition frameworks and associated benefits; implement an international commission model to stimulate cross-border sales.
- Develop and maintain monthly performance dashboards and conduct business reviews to drive sales outcomes.
- Partner with regional teams and product divisions to ensure consistent, premium client journeys and support launches, activations and global initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop a compact international team (3 permanent reports, 1 intern, 1 apprentice), fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and innovation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury client development, VIP client relations or high-end client services, ideally within fashion or luxury goods.
- Fluent spoken and written English and French (mandatory).
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead small, cross-cultural teams and influence senior stakeholders globally.
- Strong strategic, analytical and commercial mindset with experience defining KPIs and monitoring performance across regions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; proven experience preparing and delivering high-level strategic presentations.
- Cultural agility and demonstrated track record operating in international, multicultural environments; sensitivity to brand and service excellence.

Experience
Minimum 10 years in luxury client development or high-end client relations, with demonstrable international experience managing global programmes, VIP initiatives and revenue-driven client strategies in the fashion or luxury sector.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, luxury management, marketing or related field; advanced degree (MBA or master’s) preferred.
