Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in a 10-month theoretical and practical training programme (Istituto dei Mestieri d’Eccellenza) combining classroom instruction and on-the-job practice in Veneto.
- Support the production of the shoe upper (tomaia) from prototype through to preparation for production, applying precise sewing and assembly techniques.
- Work with premium materials (leathers, textiles), recognising their characteristics and handling them with appropriate care.
- Execute hand and machine stitching, edge finishing and assembly operations with high manual precision and consistent quality control.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, prototypists and production teams to ensure specifications and tolerances are met.
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation and adhere to workplace health, safety and material-care protocols.
Qualifications
- Completion of compulsory schooling (scuola dell'obbligo).
- Manual dexterity and fine-motor skills with demonstrated sensitivity to craftsmanship and detail.
- Strong attention to quality and respect for premium raw materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in small teams and follow instruction from technical trainers and artisans.
- Good command of the Italian language.

Entry-level. No prior professional experience is required; candidates with a first experience or demonstrable manual aptitude are welcome. The programme targets unemployed or inactive participants.
Education
Completion of compulsory education (secondary schooling).
