Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 10-month theoretical and practical training programme (Istituto dei Mestieri d’Eccellenza) combining classroom instruction and on-the-job practice in Veneto.
  • Support the production of the shoe upper (tomaia) from prototype through to preparation for production, applying precise sewing and assembly techniques.
  • Work with premium materials (leathers, textiles), recognising their characteristics and handling them with appropriate care.
  • Execute hand and machine stitching, edge finishing and assembly operations with high manual precision and consistent quality control.
  • Collaborate with pattern makers, prototypists and production teams to ensure specifications and tolerances are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workstation and adhere to workplace health, safety and material-care protocols.

Qualifications

  • Completion of compulsory schooling (scuola dell'obbligo).
  • Manual dexterity and fine-motor skills with demonstrated sensitivity to craftsmanship and detail.
  • Strong attention to quality and respect for premium raw materials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in small teams and follow instruction from technical trainers and artisans.
  • Good command of the Italian language.

Experience
