Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the European Financial Control team, comprising three controllers and one intern, ensuring skill development and team synergy.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial data, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, with IFRS standards and reporting deadlines.
- Drive budgetary and forecasting processes for the European region, analyzing performance and proposing action plans to optimize costs.
- Present financial information to the European General Management and prepare budget presentations.
- Review and oversee business plans for European network development projects.
- Act as a key business partner for financial and retail projects, ensuring adherence to accounting, control, and fiscal standards.
- Coordinate with central and local teams to harmonize financial processes across the region.
- Provide strategic support and analytical insights to the CFO Europe and the President of the European zone.
- Engage with the financial community in Europe, addressing specific issues such as fraud, payments, accounting, and tax matters.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in audit, financial control, or finance, including team management, ideally in international retail.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 10 years in audit, financial control, or finance, with team management experience, preferably in international retail.
Education
Master's degree in Finance or Management.
