Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of the Fine Jewellery department in the boutique.
  • Ensure optimization of stock level usage in collaboration with area managers.
  • Participate in setting up the purchase plan.
  • Ensure team adherence to established procedures for ordering and transfers.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the yearly marketing calendar with the Marketing Manager.
  • Assist in defining the yearly strategic plan and preparing budgets with the Division Manager.
  • Participate in strategic meetings with suppliers and regional teams to negotiate commercial conditions.
  • Monitor daily sales against targets and take necessary actions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, logistics, and merchandising for openings, closings, and renovations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners.
  • Attend managers' meetings to review shop performance and provide feedback to the Division Manager.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Manage, engage, and guide the team, setting objectives and budgets.
  • Coach and train team members.
  • Identify and satisfy customer needs to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in management within a luxury product setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury industry.
  • Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Organizational and management skills. Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in retail, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in a luxury product setting like Fine Jewellery.
