Department Manager
Christian Dior Couture in Manila seeks a Department Manager to lead boutique sales, client development and team performance.
Overview
Christian Dior Couture is the haute couture and ready-to-wear arm of the House of Dior, renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, creativity and an iconic heritage. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the department to achieve and exceed sales targets by coaching the team, providing floor support and implementing proactive actions to optimise business performance.
- Drive client development: maximise recruitment, nurture high-value relationships, support private appointments and promote client loyalty initiatives such as Be Dior.
- Develop and maintain the department’s sales mix through cross-selling, product advisory and by improving the team’s product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Recruit, develop and motivate staff: set individual and departmental goals, conduct performance reviews, deliver constructive feedback and implement tailored development plans.
- Train supervisors and junior staff; identify talent and prepare succession plans to elevate staff to the next level.
- Manage daily department operations, including visual merchandising standards, upkeep of selling space and adherence to Dior operational guidelines.
- Act as boutique-in-charge in the absence of the Boutique Manager, providing end-to-end support for floor operations and cashiering.
- Coordinate with Back of House and Merchandising on inventory management, replenishment and stock control to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in luxury retail, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing client portfolios.
- Demonstrable leadership and team development experience with ability to coach supervisors and floor staff.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication and interpersonal skills; target-oriented and client-centric mindset.
- Organised, detail-oriented, resilient under pressure and passionate about luxury fashion.

Experience
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in luxury retail, including at least 4 years at a managerial level with responsibility for driving sales, client development and team leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, fashion or a related discipline preferred — equivalent professional experience in luxury retail will be considered.
