Department Manager
Christian Dior Couture seeks a Department Manager in Berlin KaDeWe — full-time role leading a luxury boutique department with team, stock and commercial responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities
- Maximise department sales and profitability through proactive commercial management and daily monitoring of sales vs targets
- Collaborate with the Boutique Manager to optimise stock usage and inventory flow, ensuring adherence to ordering and transfer procedures
- Define objectives and budgets for team members; track performance and take corrective actions to meet targets
- Coach, train and engage the department team; manage hiring input, scheduling and development conversations
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop the annual calendar and implement in-store marketing and visual merchandising activities
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners to support partnerships and product flow
- Attend managerial meetings to report on shop performance and provide actionable feedback to the Boutique Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of retail experience, with at least two years in a managerial role within a luxury product environment
- Demonstrable commercial initiative and creativity with a strong fashion sensitivity
- Proven people management skills: coaching, performance management and team engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong organisational and prioritisation ability in a fast-paced setting
- Fluent in German and English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous

Experience
Minimum 5 years of retail experience required, preferably including at least 2 years in a management position within the luxury sector.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, retail or fashion is preferred.
