Christian Dior Couture seeks a Boutique Sales Associate in Detroit to deliver luxury client service, develop client relationships and achieve boutique sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver best‑in‑class client service across channels (in‑person, phone and electronic communication) and build long‑term client relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs, including sales volume, units per transaction (UPT) and average dollar per sale (ADS).
  • Develop and maintain a local and international client book; proactively recruit, retain and cultivate top clients through clienteling techniques and follow‑up.
  • Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge and engage clients with the stories and details behind merchandise to drive conversion and AOV.
  • Support boutique operations: merchandising, visual presentation, stock organization, inventory and cycle counts, packaging/wrapping and housekeeping to uphold brand standards.
  • Manage sales transactions accurately, locate merchandise across the network when required and comply with company procedures to protect store assets.
  • Partner with leadership to resolve client issues promptly and escalate appropriately to preserve client satisfaction and the business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of retail sales and client service experience, preferably within a luxury fashion or premium consumer goods environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and developing a personal client book.
  • Commercially driven with a passion for fashion, creativity and the Dior brand.
  • Excellent communication, organization and follow‑through skills with strong numeracy for accurate documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt and perform in a fast‑paced retail environment while maintaining a team‑first attitude.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressive retail sales and client service experience, ideally within a luxury fashion boutique. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, grow a client book and operate within boutique processes and inventory controls.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; postgraduate training or certification in retail, fashion or luxury brand management preferred but not mandatory.
