Parfums Christian Dior seeks an Assistant Product Manager, PR & Category in Jakarta to lead PR, KOLs and product campaigns for a focus fragrance/cosmetics category.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual PR and KOL strategy aligned with brand objectives to increase awareness and desirability in Indonesia.
  • Negotiate editorial coverage, collaboration fees and contractual terms with media, KOLs and celebrities; manage renewals and scope of work.
  • Localise and amplify global creative assets; author and validate press releases and collaborate with regional PR for approvals and dissemination.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute PR events (local and selected overseas) in close partnership with visual merchandising, training and product teams.
  • Prepare monthly PR reporting, including competitor activity analysis and brand buzz metrics (e.g., Tribes EMV), for the regional PR team.
  • Own end-to-end product management for one focus category: forecasting, launch tracking and on-shelf timing.
  • Liaise with Central Registration to ensure timely product registration and compliance for launches in line with ASPAC schedules.
  • Monitor competitor assortments and marketing mix to maintain competitive positioning and inform campaign strategy.
  • Collaborate with sales and merchandising teams to secure product listing with key retailers and optimise planograms and assortment per door.
  • Lead 360-degree campaign strategy and execution for the assigned focus category, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • University or college degree.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' proven experience in PR and/or product marketing, preferably within beauty or luxury FMCG.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving capability, with experience in forecasting and competitive analysis.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in public relations, influencer/KOL management and product or category marketing; experience in beauty, cosmetics or luxury goods is highly desirable.
