Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Merchandising Manager on execution and governance of merchandising across the France market (c.1,600 points of sale).
  • Manage the wholesale estate lifecycle: openings, closures and renovations in coordination with commercial and retail teams.
  • Build and update planograms using the IWD tool in collaboration with marketing and commercial stakeholders.
  • Maintain and optimise merchandising data and workflows in KLEE: handle field SAV, stock alerts, monthly reporting and improvement proposals.
  • Coordinate production of POS/PLV elements (didactics, visuals, tester holders) and supervise post‑launch installations.
  • Assist in VM deployment for event corners (notably Sephora Champs‑Élysées flagship) and maintain event makeup furniture.
  • Contribute to sales team enablement via training materials, newsletters and presentations.
  • Support budget tracking for merchandising projects and perform competitive field monitoring with monthly reporting and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or pursuing a Master’s level programme in Marketing, Commerce, Retail or equivalent (work‑study/alternance format).
  • First internship experience in merchandising, retail marketing or related functions preferred.
  • Strong interest in luxury retail, cosmetics and visual merchandising practices.
  • High attention to detail with analytical aptitude for reporting and data follow‑up.
  • Collaborative team player with stakeholder management skills and adaptability.

Experience

Entry‑level — open to candidates at the beginning of their career; a prior internship in merchandising or marketing is advantageous.

Education

Master’s degree in progress (Marketing, Commerce, Retail or equivalent) — alternance/work‑study candidates.
