Assistant Counter Manager
Parfums Christian Dior seeks an Assistant Counter Manager in Rotterdam to support counter leadership, drive sales and deliver luxury client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Counter Manager in driving sales performance and monitoring commercial KPIs to achieve counter objectives.
- Co-lead and develop the retail team through coaching, setting individual targets and fostering engagement and teamwork.
- Deliver exemplary client experiences by applying the D.I.O.R. service method, achieving personal sales targets and executing clienteling activities.
- Support CRM and client acquisition initiatives, including clienteling, database recruitment and retention campaigns.
- Contribute to launch plans, in-store commercial animations and brand events to maximize product visibility and sales.
- Oversee counter operations in the absence of the Counter Manager, ensuring compliance with cash, stock, merchandising and operational procedures.
- Assist with stock management, visual merchandising standards, scheduling and required administrative follow-up and reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management capacity — preferably in luxury cosmetics or beauty retail.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets.
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in spoken English.
- Strong leadership capability with demonstrated people-management and coaching skills.
- Solid knowledge of cosmetics and the beauty category, including product expertise and client advisory.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and adherence to luxury service standards.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of retail experience with at least one year in a supervisory or assistant management role, ideally within luxury beauty or cosmetics; demonstrable history of achieving sales KPIs and leading small teams.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational or professional training in retail, beauty or commerce is advantageous.
