Role & Responsibilities
- Perform simple and complex alterations on men's garments, adhering to the brand's high standards of excellence.
- Select appropriate materials and tools for each task.
- Unstitch garments and reassemble them to new specifications, especially for delicate fabrics.
- Sew and assemble seams and hems, using both machine and hand techniques.
- Communicate promptly about any execution difficulties or deadline issues.
- Press garments to ensure a polished finish.
- Inspect alterations to ensure proper fit and quality.
- Maintain a tidy workspace and organize tools and materials.
Qualifications
- CAP in Couture flou or tailoring, or experience as a model mechanic.
- Experience in a luxury fashion house is advantageous.
