Role & Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor apprentices in acquiring skills necessary for the Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC).
- Develop and implement training programs aligned with federal training plans and specific apprentice needs.
- Design, update, and correct practical and theoretical exercises and internal educational materials.
- Deliver practical training related to the jewelry profession.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve training plans.
- Prepare and evaluate practice exams, both practical and theoretical.
- Stay informed on technological advancements and best practices in the jewelry field.
- Create theoretical materials to support practical training when necessary.
- Research and implement both new and traditional jewelry techniques.
- Periodically assess apprentices' performance in line with company and professional training standards.
- Collaborate with inter-company course organizers and professional schools, participating in promotional events and pedagogical meetings.
- Participate in the recruitment process of future apprentices.
- Ensure safety by monitoring the proper use of machinery and protective equipment.
- Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating attitude, rigor, and precision.
- Encourage autonomy, curiosity, and responsibility among apprentices.
- Work closely with the Head of Initial Professional Training.
- Manage workshop maintenance, orders, machinery, and consumables.
- Conduct monthly inventory for gold and silver using the gold-book.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in jewelry making and training.
- In-depth knowledge of federal training regulations and plans.
Skills
Experience
Substantial experience in the jewelry industry with a focus on training and mentoring apprentices.
Education
Relevant certification or degree in jewelry making or a related field.
