Heritage Assistant (Intern)
Chloé — Paris: Heritage Assistant internship (July 2026). Support archives, digitisation and collection research for the Paris maison.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support cataloguing, digitization and physical organisation of the brand archive and sample collection.
- Create and maintain accurate collection records, including metadata entry, condition reports and photo documentation.
- Assist in preparation and logistics for internal presentations, exhibitions and editorial shoots using archive pieces.
- Conduct provenance and historical research on garments, prints and accessories to support design and communications teams.
- Coordinate intake and inventory of newly returned samples and manage storage workflows to preserve materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, communication, production) to respond to archive enquiries and visual requests.
- Contribute to digitisation projects, image processing and basic image asset management for the heritage database.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Fashion Studies, Art History, Museology, Archival Science, Library Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Demonstrable interest in fashion history, craftsmanship and archival practice.
- Ability to handle delicate textiles and accessories with care; basic understanding of preservation principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple small projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills appropriate for preparing documentation and research summaries.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship or academic project experience in archives, museum collections, fashion houses or similar cultural institutions is preferred but not mandatory. Practical exposure to object handling, documentation or digitisation is an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's program in Fashion Studies, Art History, Museology, Archival Science, Library Science or a related field.
