Chloé — Paris: Alternance Assistant Product Development starting Sept 2026. Apprenticeship supporting product lifecycle, tech packs and sample coordination.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Development Manager across the seasonal development cycle, from concept validation to pre‑production.
  • Prepare and maintain tech packs, spec sheets and material dossiers; ensure version control and PLM updates.
  • Coordinate sample requests, fittings and follow‑up with internal teams and external ateliers; document fit and quality feedback.
  • Track prototypes and production timelines; escalate schedule risks and propose mitigation actions to preserve critical path.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, materials and quality teams to manage trims, fabric approvals, lab dips and testing requirements.
  • Assist in cost monitoring for development phases and provide data for costing comparisons and decision documents.
  • Produce regular development reports and presentation materials for cross‑functional meetings.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited fashion/product development, industrialization, merchandising or related programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) and eligible for alternance/apprenticeship in France.
  • Strong organizational aptitude with rigorous attention to technical detail and version control.
  • Clear interpersonal and written communication skills for cross‑functional coordination with ateliers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight seasonal deadlines and to work proactively within a team.

Experience

Previous internship experience in a fashion house, atelier or supplier is advantageous but not mandatory; the role is structured for a candidate in an alternating work‑study programme who has practical exposure to product development processes.

Education

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Fashion Product Development, Industrialization, Merchandising, Fashion Design or a closely related discipline; eligible for alternance/apprenticeship contracts in France.
