Cheval Blanc Courchevel in Courchevel, France seeks a Room Attendant / Valet (Contract) for the 2025–2026 season in a luxury alpine hotel.
Overview
Cheval Blanc Courchevel is the alpine Maison of the Cheval Blanc portfolio, operated by LVMH Hotel Management. Perched in the Jardin Alpin within the Trois Vallées ski domain, the property combines contemporary design with mountain hospitality across 36 rooms and suites, signature restaurants (including a three‑Michelin‑starred venue), a Guerlain spa and bespoke guest services. The Maison is known for exacting standards, refined culinary and wellness experiences, and an emphasis on discreet, personalised service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, service and maintain guestrooms, suites and apartments to the Maison’s luxury housekeeping standards, including daily turndown and on‑demand cleaning.
- Anticipate and record guest preferences to deliver personalised in‑room experiences.
- Perform daily inspections and functional checks of rooms, reporting and following up on any maintenance or operational issues in accordance with procedures.
- Ensure corridors, back‑of‑house offices and service areas are kept immaculate and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Manage housekeeping carts and ensure optimal stocking of amenities, linens and guest supplies.
- Coordinate closely with the Executive Housekeeper, floor housekeepers, luggage porters, laundry, Carte Blanche in‑room dining and technical teams to guarantee a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ housekeeping experience in luxury hotels or 5‑star properties.
- Proven knowledge of professional room preparation, inspection protocols and luxury service standards.
- Strong attention to detail, discretion and the ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Physical stamina for repeated bending, lifting and extended periods on foot; ability to work within a team and under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts during a winter season (morning, afternoon, evening) and commitment to on‑site service.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional housekeeping experience in luxury or 5‑star hotel environments, with demonstrated competence in guestroom preparation and service coordination.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training or certification in hospitality/housekeeping preferred.
