Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks a Reservation Agent Intern in Saint Barthélemy — full-time internship managing guest bookings using Opera and Microsoft Office.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage all reservation requests, proposing tailored solutions that meet guest needs while contributing to revenue development.
  • Sell room inventory and ancillary services; process reservations, confirmations and amendments accurately in the property management system.
  • Ensure the reliability and quality of each booking through meticulous data entry and proactive follow-up.
  • Provide exemplary telephone and written reception, representing the Maison with discretion, professionalism and a guest-first mindset.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property, rate structures and room categories to advise guests and support upselling.
  • Support site inspections and coordinate with tour operators (TO) and travel agents (TA) as required; collaborate closely with the Reservations Manager and reservation agents.

Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma (CAP), Bac or BTS in Hospitality/Catering or a Professional Certificate (MC) in Reception.
  • First experience in luxury hospitality is recommended but not mandatory.
  • Fluent French and English, both spoken and written; proficiency in a third language is an advantage.
  • Proven proficiency with Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of discretion, attention to detail, analytical aptitude and strong customer-service orientation.

Experience

Entry-level. No prior professional experience required; however, a first internship or work placement in luxury hotels is advantageous.

CAP/BAC/BTS in Hospitality or Catering, or a Professional Certificate (MC) in Reception.
