Chanel seeks a Window and Décor Production Manager in Geneva to lead production of boutique window displays and store décor.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end production of window displays and in-store décor from concept translation to site installation and maintenance, ensuring coherence with creative directives and brand standards.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, timelines and technical specifications in coordination with creative studio, visual merchandising and store operations.
  • Source, tender and manage external suppliers, fabricators and artisans; negotiate contracts, monitor workmanship and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Prepare and control project budgets, cost estimates and purchase orders; drive cost-efficiency while protecting luxury quality and finish.
  • Oversee installation teams and contractors onsite; ensure health, safety and site compliance during build and dismantle operations.
  • Maintain and catalogue props, fixtures and technical assets; plan logistics for storage, transportation and reuse across boutiques or events.
  • Implement technical solutions for lighting, joinery and audiovisual elements; troubleshoot on-site technical issues and coordinate repairs.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in production management for retail displays, visual merchandising, scenography or exhibition build within luxury retail or a high-end creative atelier.
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, workshops and multi‑disciplinary installation teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience owning project budgets and procurement processes.
  • Technical understanding of joinery, lighting, materials and construction methods relevant to permanent and temporary retail installations.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.

Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in visual merchandising, design, technical theatre, architecture, production management or a related discipline; substantial professional experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
