Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, consultative client service to cultivate long-term relationships, maintain clienteling activities and grow a personal book of business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through expert presentation, cross-selling and closing techniques tailored to watches and fine jewelry.
  • Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge of mechanical and quartz timepieces, gemology, metals and haute joaillerie collections; translate technical detail into compelling client narratives.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales transaction lifecycle including appointments, quotations, order processing, invoicing and after-sales follow-up.
  • Coordinate with After-Sales/Service teams on watch servicing, warranty matters and jewelry maintenance to ensure continuity of client care.
  • Support merchandising and visual standards for the watches and fine jewelry floor; contribute to window displays, product rotation and inventory presentation.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, perform regular inventory reconciliations and ensure adherence to security and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Represent the brand at private client events, trunk shows and VIP appointments; liaise with CRM to log interactions and manage follow-ups.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail sales, preferably within watches and/or fine jewelry.
  • Deep technical understanding of horology, gemstones and precious metals; formal gemological or watchmaking credentials (e.g., GIA, WOSTEP) preferred.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and retain a high-value client portfolio through active prospecting and relationship management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset and professional discretion.
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and experience handling high-value transactions with integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to travel occasionally for events or client appointments.

Experience
