Chanel seeks a Watches & Fine Jewelry Specialist in Houston, TX — client-facing luxury sales role focused on timepieces and high jewelry.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative client service to cultivate long-term relationships, maintain clienteling activities and grow a personal book of business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through expert presentation, cross-selling and closing techniques tailored to watches and fine jewelry.
- Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge of mechanical and quartz timepieces, gemology, metals and haute joaillerie collections; translate technical detail into compelling client narratives.
- Manage all aspects of the sales transaction lifecycle including appointments, quotations, order processing, invoicing and after-sales follow-up.
- Coordinate with After-Sales/Service teams on watch servicing, warranty matters and jewelry maintenance to ensure continuity of client care.
- Support merchandising and visual standards for the watches and fine jewelry floor; contribute to window displays, product rotation and inventory presentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records, perform regular inventory reconciliations and ensure adherence to security and loss-prevention protocols.
- Represent the brand at private client events, trunk shows and VIP appointments; liaise with CRM to log interactions and manage follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales, preferably within watches and/or fine jewelry.
- Deep technical understanding of horology, gemstones and precious metals; formal gemological or watchmaking credentials (e.g., GIA, WOSTEP) preferred.
- Demonstrable ability to build and retain a high-value client portfolio through active prospecting and relationship management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset and professional discretion.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and experience handling high-value transactions with integrity.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to travel occasionally for events or client appointments.

Experience
Multiple years of progressive experience in luxury retail sales, with at least 2 years focused on watches and/or fine jewelry and a measurable record of meeting sales targets.
Education
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or formal training in gemology/horology preferred.
