Role & Responsibilities
- Provide authoritative product expertise in haute horlogerie and high jewellery; present technical features, provenance and craftsmanship to high‑net‑worth clients.
- Proactively build, manage and grow a portfolio of VIP and prospective clients through structured clienteling, personalised appointments and private viewings.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and strategic upselling across categories.
- Curate and maintain immaculate presentation of watch and jewellery vitrines; implement visual merchandising directives and seasonal floor sets.
- Manage inventory control, stock reconciliation and loss‑prevention procedures for watches and fine jewellery.
- Coordinate after‑sales service, liaise with workshops for servicing and repairs, and ensure timely client communication and follow‑up.
- Represent the maison at trunk shows, client events and private appointments; contribute to CRM record‑keeping and sales reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in luxury watch and/or fine jewellery retail sales with a documented track record of achieving targets.
- Deep technical knowledge of watches (movements, complications) and jewellery (gemology, materials) or willingness to complete horology/gemology training.
- Exceptional clienteling and relationship‑management skills, including discretion and experience with HNW/UHNWI clientele.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; professional demeanour and polished personal presentation.
- Flexible availability to work boutique hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of direct luxury retail experience selling watches and/or fine jewellery, with demonstrable sales performance and experience managing VIP client relationships. Prior exposure to private sales and event-based selling is highly desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or professional certification in gemology, horology or luxury retail is preferred but not required.
