Visual Merchandising Manager
Chanel seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager for Dubai Mall to lead window displays and in-store visual strategy in Dubai.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Chanel’s visual merchandising strategy for the Dubai Mall flagship, ensuring all windows, in-store displays and seasonal installations reflect brand direction and campaign briefs.
- Conceptualize, design and oversee installation of creative displays and scenic elements in collaboration with regional VM, store leadership and external fabricators.
- Manage the local visual merchandising team and external contractors, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance feedback to maintain brand standards.
- Partner with Store Manager, Retail Operations and Buying to align floor plans, product adjacencies, stock allocation and promotional calendars to visual initiatives.
- Control VM budgets, approve vendor quotes, manage timelines and ensure installations are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain and evolve the in-store prop inventory, documentation of display guidelines, and visual toolkits for consistent execution.
- Measure impact of visual activity through qualitative review and retail KPIs; provide post-campaign analysis and recommendations for optimisation.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury visual merchandising, preferably within couture, ready-to-wear or high-end accessories.
- Strong leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage small teams and external suppliers.
- Compelling portfolio of past VM projects and window displays showing concept development to execution.
- Excellent project management skills, including budget oversight and vendor coordination.
- Exceptional sense of aesthetics, attention to detail and thorough knowledge of luxury retail presentation standards.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive visual merchandising experience in luxury retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; demonstrable experience delivering large-format windows and seasonal campaigns in flagship environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Interior Design or related discipline preferred.
